After every chess match, there’s a new way to keep learning: Game Review is now available for our Chess course on iOS.

Whether you pulled off a brilliant move or accidentally sacrificed your queen (we’ve all been there 😬), Game Review helps you understand what happened and improve for next time.

Replay your matches move-by-move

Every completed match is now saved in your match history, making it easy to revisit old games whenever you want.

With Game Review, you can walk through previous matches and see key moments from the game highlighted along the way. Oscar will help you spot what worked, what didn’t, and what you could try differently next time.

These are your standout moments: smart plays, brilliant tactics, and moves worth celebrating.

Missed opportunities ⚠️ 

Sometimes your opponent makes a mistake… and you don’t take advantage of it. Game Review turns those moments into interactive exercises by letting you retry the move or think through a short sequence.

Mistakes 🫣

Made a move that got you into trouble? Game Review explains why. You’ll go over concepts like pinned pieces, missed threats, and tactical mistakes—and avoid making the same blunder next time!
